Brief description

· transabdominal;
· transrectal.

· rectal temperature is elevated;
· there are pains in the lower part of the body (in the back, in the groin, etc.);
· urination is accelerated;
· there are painful sensations during urination;
· weakness and fatigue are felt;
· urination is difficult;
· there are frequent defecation problems;
· there are unmotivated irritability, depression;
· urine analysis results have negative changes;

Preparation
The preparation for ultrasound depends on the research method. In transrectal exam, a cleansing enema must be performed 5-6 hours before the ultrasound. Moreover:
· the day before, do not eat products that promote gas formation;
· fill the bladder by drinking ~ 1.5 liters of non-carbonated water;
· avoid being examined after rectal examinations.
Transrectal examination is not performed during resection or surgery on the distal parts of the gastrointestinal tract.
